In the diagram, AODAOD and BCBC are two parallel straight lines. Arc ABAB is part of a circle with centre OO and radius 1515 cm. Angle BOA=θBOA = \theta radians. Arc CDCD is part of a circle with centre OO and radius 1010 cm. Angle COD=12πCOD = \frac12\pi radians.

(a) Show that θ=0.7297\theta = 0.7297, correct to 44 decimal places.

(b) Find the perimeter and the area of the shape ABCDABCD. Give your answers correct to 33 significant figures.
